Hoard of gold coins discovered close to the walls around Jerusalem National Park in late December last year. The solidi coins depict a bearded Byzantine emperor Heraclius (AD 610-641) wearing the military uniform of a cloak over chain mail in one image, and holding the globus cruiger in the other. full feature link |
